How the estimate works

Our estimator uses a Claude-based AI trained on the most common problems across every major home sewing machine brand. You give it the brand, the symptoms, and a one-line note about what is happening. It gives you a realistic price range and a likely diagnosis. The range is an estimate, not a quote — the firm quote comes after a technician has the machine on the bench. If you do not like the firm quote, we return your machine at no cost.

Why it is free

Honest answer: we built this tool to earn your booking. Customers who price-check before committing are better customers — they have realistic expectations and they do not bounce at the quote stage. So we made the best estimator we could, put no wall around it, and hope that when you are ready, you remember us.

Questions

Is this really free?

Yes. No email, no account, no catch. We offer the tool because customers who price-check first are more likely to book a repair with us later. If you like the estimate, we hope you will book free pickup. If not, no hard feelings.

How accurate is the estimate?

The estimate is based on thousands of common repair patterns. For clear, simple problems it is usually within 10–20% of the final quote. For vague or multi-symptom problems, the range is wider on purpose. A technician gives you the firm quote after inspection.

What if I do not like the final quote?

We return your machine to you at no charge. You pay only if you approve the repair.

Do you service all brands?

We service every major home sewing machine brand — Singer, Brother, Janome, Bernina, Pfaff, Juki, Husqvarna Viking, Elna, and more. Industrial machines are outside our current scope.
