Bobbin and Fix started with a closet full of broken machines. A grandmother’s Singer that hadn’t stitched in fifteen years. A Bernina someone had been meaning to get fixed since before the pandemic. A Brother that skipped every third stitch and was shoved under a craft table, waiting.

“I love this machine, I just don’t know where to take it.” The old-school repair shops were disappearing. The ones that remained were hard to find, harder to reach, and often booked weeks out. Meanwhile the machines — and the projects they held up — sat quiet.

So we built the thing we wanted to exist. You tell us what’s wrong, we send a courier, and a trusted technician in your area handles the rest. You never have to interact with anyone but us. One brand, one promise, and a machine that comes back running like the day you fell in love with it.

We believe a good sewing machine is worth saving. We believe in the people who still make things with their hands — quilts, costumes, curtains, clothes for grandkids — and in the craft of the technicians who know how to bring those machines back to life. Our job is to get the two back together.
